[In the future Henry is 16 here and in the Enchanted Forest ] "A part of this world" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- Henry was sixteen now and well he was living no longer in Storybrooke, and though he did miss it he had found away to bring some of the things from the land without magic over and get them working. It helped he had been able to find a way to use his heart to generate magic, he had it locked within him it was just well it took a while for him to find, and he had a great teacher, his own mom Emma. His other mom Regina did help a bit though as well. Thanks to them he knew how to control magic.
That's not the reason he loved them though no he loved them for being them, he loved every part of them. While he hated villains and such his black and white view on them were gone now. He knew and accepted that his mother's might kill people to protect themselves, he didn't mind as much about his mom maybe being the Evil Queen once upon a time. In fact he believed as long as he was there he could keep her good.
Henry had been up all night in the castle playing video game's, having used his magic to install some much to the annoyance of his whole family. Apparently they seemed to think he was video game's obsessed. He had told them that was so no true, and it was not just because he had gotten Grumpy addicted to them either. he went out horse riding and sword fighting and well not questing because well they still wouldn't let him. Not old enough they said, oh he'd show them very soon.
For now though he had to attend a very important ceremony, he had to be there because well it was his special day, it was a day to celebrate his turning sixteen the other day. His mom Regina kept telling him how her little prince seemed to be not so little any more, though she refused to stop calling him his little Prince and, she was sooo embarrassing when she called him that. Both his moms just wouldn't stop and they embarrassed him in front of piper on his birthday, that wasn't fair.
Henry was dressed in both simple clothing and the royal colours that his grampa and Grama both insisted he should wear, he didn't like them as much as the other clothes he wore but he had to wear them today. The Teenager had nearly decided to not do it but his Grampa and Grandma had such high hopes for today, as did his mom Regina and well he didn't want to let them down, just because of a teenage *strop* as they liked to call it, though Emma said there was nothing wrong with teenage rebellion, his dad said it was healthy. Henry's more simple clothing was white shirt with a green vest of sorts over it , he had golden cuffs on his arms and knotted cloth around his neck almost like a scarf. The rest of his clothing was of the royal colours, he wore and brown coloured cloak that fitted him just about and at his waist was a sword, ceremonial apparently. He also had to wear better trousers this time but he had rather refused, and well the trousers we wore had a few cuts down the bottom. He had magicked some pockets for himself and stuck his latest hand held games device inside, just in case he needed it later
Henry was nervous as he walked through the corridors of the castle, his emotions and his heart was jumping all over the place, everyone was going to look at him and well he wasn't sure he could take this big of a moment. A younger him would of loved this being the centre of attention at a big ball like this. Henry however gulped he didn't like it, it made him nervous plus he had very recently started coming p in spots every now and then, normal teenage thing but well it was embarrassing. Composing himself the Little Prince as everyone had decided to style him walked through the doors into the main room.

Avery couldn’t believe this s**t was for real. When Henry had explained the book, Storybrooke and The Enchanted Forest to him for the first time, he couldn’t help but laugh at his best friend. Over the years they had often pranked one another, as boys do, so he assumed this was a poorly put together story and that Henry was trying to fool him. But soon after that, Henry left, and he was out a best friend. They stayed in contact as best they could, but Avery was never really good at that sort of thing. Besides he had school work, girls and trouble to get into, and it was hard to keep in touch with someone who was in a “magic world”. He loved Henry (platonically of course), but still had a hard time wrapping his mind around all of this. He was incredibly surprised when he received an invitation to a celebration “ball” for Henry. He was more even more surprised because the letter didn’t come in the mail; it just appeared on his desk one night. A ball? Seriously? Avery stared at the letter, reading it over and over. The letter sat on his desk for weeks; he didn’t know what to think of it. He had looked at it so many times; the “RSVP” box was like a beacon; in all seriousness it flashed. It was rather annoying actually. Avery went about his time, ignoring the flashing invitation as much as possible. No matter how much crap he piled on top of it, it always flashed through, begging him to answer. “FINE!” Avery thrashed at his messy desk, shoving everything on the floor. Had the light gotten brighter? “Whatever”, he grabbed a pen, bringing it up to the paper. “Well Henry we’ll see if you’re….” Avery didn’t have a chance to finish his sentence. As soon as he checked the box, everything around him disappeared. “What the f…..??” He felt as if he were flying, or falling. Either way it was strange. Before he could even wrap his head around what had happened, he felt something solid under his behind. “Ouch,” he groaned. Everything was spinning and the ground wasn’t exactly comfortable. He checked his surroundings, his eyes trying to adjust to the dim lighting. Everything around him looked fake, at least there was no way it could be real. After a moment his head settled and he was ready to figure out what could possibly be going on. Pushing himself up, Avery shook his head, his wild hair flying. Even as he grew older he refused to give into the whole “haircut” idea, and only allowed his mother to do it once a year. At this age however, girls went for the whole “bad-boy” look, and he knew his messy hair was just another way to get the ladies. Slowly he tip toed forward. This place was so quiet… so strange. He felt as if he could hear a pin drop. As he rounded the corner, he noticed a boy, about his age with his back to him. Wait, he recognized the back of that head! He could see Henry reach for two large doors, preparing to open them. Without thinking, he bolted up behind him, grabbed his cloak (“Henry was wearing a cloak?” He briefly thought, reminding himself to pick on him for it later”) “Now creep, could you possibly explain to me where the hell I am, and how the hell I got here?” He pronounced loudly, pulling the cloak, and Henry backwards.

"A part of this world" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- Come to think of it Henry was a little surprised that he was surprised right now, considering he had been really hoping this would happen, the fact he had sent the invite. He expected and had the belief that the person he sent the invite to would show up but there was always that niggling bit of doubt, that just maybe his best friend would not turn up at all. One thing Henry knew was that his best friend Avery would take an awful long time making a decision, or just end up missing the whole thing. Avery was most likely busy with school stuff and at a guess girls, though to be honest Henry wasn't interested in girls he was interested in Piper more than anyone else. Henry had to be creative, to find a way to get Avery's attention instead of just sending a boring letter that he would ignore.
Henry had enchanted the Letter in more than one way, the first way he had to get off someone extremely powerful. Mainly his grampa and from Merlin and with a bit of his own power, he was still slightly learning. It was a way to get his best friend here, it would transport his best friend here as soon as he started it right on the paper as soon as hi intention was yes. The next was a way to get his friends attention, a bright light that could be seen just about anywhere. Henry knew his friend would give in, in the end when something was that annoying. He had not been entirely sure it could work, but he had hope it would, it had been a while since he had sent it and Henry had hoped that he would come at least a day ago, maybe he would pop up today or something. If he didn't he was sure Piper would be happy, but part of him felt it would be a little empty without his best friend there.
He had been in contact with Avery every now and then, and Henry had actually found a way to get back to the Land without magic, not that he had told anyone. He was using the White Rabbit, he had helped the White Rabbit first instead of using him as taxi service and went around to say hello to him and such. He had actually slept over Avery's a few times. They hadn't seen each other as much as they used to. It was mainly because of his family and part of Henry felt like he should go back and stay, stay in the land without magic, but he also liked it around here. He hadn't really told anyone about this he didn't really want to upset anyone. There seemed more problems here in his opinion, than back there but there was some cool things here.
"Oh Fuck," Henry said feeling a little nervous at swearing, he knew how his parents felt about it, but part of him didn't care and he was caught a little off guard by his cloak being pulled. It might be a surprise for Avery considering he never really swore as well. "Now I know why I didn't want to wear this," Henry hissed out only loud enough for Avery to hear before continuing. "This could be a considered a crime," Henry said with amusement on his voice, he didn't mean it. He closed his eyes for a moment trying to think, Avery had hold of him so it was slightly uncomfortable, he quickly vanished in blue smoke appearing facing Avery instead. "Awesome, it work's" Henry said excitability more to himself. "Sorry Avery, your at my Grandparents castle, and it was magic had to get you here somehow right mate?" He said with a nervous smile, he moved the hair out his own eyes a moment and looked around. "Please don't get too mad Avery, good to see you again by the way." He wasn't sure how he was going to take this, he might end up trying to punch him.

Avery wasn't sure if he was more surprised by Henry swearing, or the fact that Henry vanished and reappeared before his own eyes. He instantly dropped his hold on the cloak, frozen for just a moment. "Uhhhh"he stuttered, stepping back a bit.
He stared blankly at his so called best friends face. He felt as if he didn't know the boy standing before him. From his appearance not only did Henry look older than he remembered, but he also looked... royal? Grown up? Something. Whatever it was, it was unfamilar to Avery. Suddenly he felt under dressed. After what seemed like forever of staring, he finally reacted in true Avery-fashion.
"Damnnnnn dude!"He punched Henry in the chest, not so softly. "That felt like my insides were ripped out through my ass!" He punched him again, this time in the arm. "You could have warned me for sh*t's sake." Avery rubbed his eyes, blinking a few time.
"And here you are looking all fancy? Now I know I must be in a different world." His initial reaction to the situation had worn off, and now he was glad to see his friend standing before him. For a moment he thought about hugging Henry, in a very manly, brother type of way, but the thought passed quickly. He couldn't remember one time they hugged, and he wasn't about to start.
"So, look at you, Mr. "I"m all fancy in my castle here,"He puffed up his chest. "What's the occassion anyway?"

"A part of this world" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- Henry watched Avery for a moment also looking around as few other people looked at the two of them, some recognised Avery was from the other land. There was at least one of the guards who seemed to want to know what was going on, but Henry quickly shock his head, and he went back to his post. Which was good because that would of been an annoying conversation to have. He watched Avery amused by his reaction to the the magic, for a moment he had forgotten Avery hadn't seen much of it. He had never really been able to show him his magic considering to did not work in the other world.
Henry's face lit up in a grin when Avery started talking, same old Avery, which made Henry glad, he would never want him to change. A lot of people wondered why he had been friends with him, Henry never really told anyone because it should be obvious why. "Urghhhh," Henry groaned out at the two punches that he got, "ouch I forgot how hard your punches were," Henry groaned out, rubbing his chest, he should of expected it but he didn't. "How was I supposed to know what it felt like, I never tried it, though." Henry suddenly got a really cheeky grin on his face and moved away slightly to avoid any punches. "Now the test subject arrived, I don't think i fancy trying it." He said with an amused wink, before looking around again it wouldn't matter if he was that late right. He was teenager now he didn't have to do everything his parent's told him.
"It's called the Enchanted Forest, and I don't look that fancy do I," Henry said looking down at his clothes he was wearing and groaning a little. He hadn't really wanted to wear the cloak or anything with the royal colours but apparently he had to, he rolled his eyes at it. "Yeah well I wouldn't be wearing all this mate, but apparently I have to show the people, that I'm committed to them or something," Henry air quoted the committed part, he was starting to get fed up of it he just wanted to get out and do stuff. Henry liked being a prince but there was lot more responsibility than he liked.
"Celebrating my sixteenth the other, coming of age ball sort of thing," he sighed "I'd rather be playing video game's."

Avery chuckled as Henry rubbed where he had punched. In the last year he had joined the wrestling team, mostly to hit on the girls who came to the meets. He also started training with a pretty well known boxer. Though he was still an average lazy teen, he didn't mind the effort he put into wrestling or boxing. He got to beat the snot out of people, what could be better?
"Committed to what... dressing like a dweeb?" Avery reached out and pulled at the edge of the scarf around Henry's neck. "What is this, a fricking ascot?" He tilted his head and tugged on the scarf, messing it up. Although he had seemed to walk into what was probably a pretty fancy, orderly event, Avery had no intention of acting proper. His mind flashed back to how crappy it was when the magic transported him there. He wondered if Henry's mom could do that kind of magic. Oh sh*t....
Straightening his back, he looked Henry in the eye. "Finally 16 huh?" Avery himself had only turned 16 over a month ago, but he always held it over his friends head that he was older. "So this shindig... there gonna be food? Girls? Dancing." He twisted his hips in a weird fashion and opened his eyes real wide. "Is everyone gonna bow you to or what?" Grabbing Henry's clock around, he did a strange walk around Henry, turning the cloak with him trying to captur Henry in it. He then placed one hand behind his own back and the other on his chest, bending forward in a dramatic bow.
"Your highness Henry- The King of Creeps!"

"A part of this world" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- "Actually have you gotten stronger, that hurt more than usual?" Henry asked looking at Avery, he swore there was something different about him, but well Henry wasn't sure what it was but its had to be something, maybe he had actually joined a club or something? Avery could be lazy at times but Henry had seen plenty of times where he wasn't, though Henry himself had gotten slightly lazy at times that was for sure. Though the fact his parents were always on his back about doing things and getting him to represent the kingdom, and such didn't give him much time to laze around.
Henry's face went bright red as Avery called him dweeb and he looked down at what he was wearing, "it's not that bad, apart from the royal robes stuff it's quite comfy," though Henry did slightly prefer the clothes in the other realm, he had actually kept his old clothes and made them bigger and more fitting to his age with magic. Henry just let Avery mess around with his scarf not caring all that much, he didn't mind if it was messed up. "Maybe I'm not sure what it's called but I like it, you know I could get you one," Henry told him with a mischievous grin. "You look a bit out of place maybe I could," he raised his hand up as if to magic something on him, he wasn't going to he was only trying to tease his friend back.
"Yup I actually meant to come over when I turned, but dad caught me trying to sneak out to find the White Rabbit." Henry sighed. Henry's grin widened as Avery asked what what was here, and he quickly put his arm around him in a friendly manner. "Lot's of food, as much as you can eat Avery, and if that doesn't sound good, girl's lots and lots of them, maybe even thousands Avery, plenty of chances to dance with them." He removed his arm and winked at him. "I should also mention piper's here." He said wincing a bit just hoping he wouldn't get upset about that, he knew the to didn't really get on.
Henry went evene redder as Avery mentioned people bowing, that's one of the thing's he really hoped was not going to happen. OH God Avery iss going to bow to me isn't he? It's the perfect thing to tease with please no. "I'd rather them not," Henry said watching as Avery picked cloak back up laughing as he tried to capture him in it. He quickly spun on the spot so he couldn't, "nice try," Henry said smugly before his face fell as Avery bowed, going redder if that were possible. "Noo don't do that," Henry shook his head embarrassed to the high heavens right now, "stop it," he hissed out looking around nervously, before punching Avery on the arm playfully in response, to get him to stop. "If I'm royalty guess I get to boss you around then," He said jokingly with a twinkle in his eye
"Hey Avery did I tell you I made a game's console room here, it's got the latest, how about he go there instead of this place," Henry looked at him curiously he was still nervous about this day and according to his family he had to be there but he didn't want to be not really, he'd rather be out side horse riding or sword fighting, or just in his room playing his game's. "I don't have to be at the party, not really." well as long as no one noticed him missing surely, and he could get someone to cover for him for that, someone who would not blow the whistle, Henry new just the person as well. What Henry didn't realize was his mom Regina was near by and had most likely hear that last bit. "What do you think?"

Avery puffed up his chest a bit at Henry's compliment, rolling up one of his sleeves and flexing his arm. "What can I say? I'm just a buff dude." Chuckling, he rolled it back down. "But in all seriousness, yeah I've been training a lot with this guy my dad knows, you know how he is always trying to vicariously live through me." He brushed some hair out of his eyes. As soon as Henry advanced towards him, he jumped back, as if he could simply jump away from magic.
In all honesty Avery was kind of jealous of Henry, though he'd never admit it. Maybe that's why he found it hard to believe the whole story to begin with. What boy wouldn't want to use magic? Though he never said anything outloud, he often avoided talking about magic. He had to give Henry a break though, there were so many areas Avery excelled at, that Henry didn't and sometimes Avery could rub it in his face. Damn, he was really lucky to have Henry as a friend at all.
Avery laughed nervously. "Dude if you pull some more magic crap on me I might just show you what the WORLD CHAMPION boxer has taught me... just sayin'." He still wanted to look cool, and if he couldn't do magic he couldn't certainly beat someone up.
When Henry put his arms around his shoulders and told him about all the girls, he stopped in his tracks. All he could picture was a whole room full of pizza, wings, bacon and girls. Tons of girls. Dancing girls. This ball thing could be all right. Avery tended to daydream, but when he heard THAT name, he instantly came back to reality. "Piper? Really dude, there's no hot Princesses in this world, or were you saving them all for me?"
For a moment, he almost wanted to agree with Henry and run to this game room. That is, until he remembered the girls. "Nah man, I mean I'm pretty stealthy but I'm pretty sure your parents and grandparents will notice if you, the star of this shindig, is missing. Nice try dumbass." With a swift hand he smacked Henry in the back of the head.
"Wait... do they even know I'm coming?" He could picture the look of horror on Henry's moms face when he walked in.

"A part of this world" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- Henry just burst out laughing when Avery said that, it wasn't that he wouldn't believe Avery in that, it was more in the way he said it. It was just funny and Henry nearly couldn't stop laughing, it ended up with him getting a few funny looks by a few of the people around him. He shook his head when he finally stopped laughing and just gave Avery one of his signature cheeky grins in response. "Cool he must be a good trainer if he can train you," Henry said with a smile, he had always been confident in Avery's strength and how well he could fight, he believed him to be seriously good.
"Yeah I remember, you dad still hasn't stopped that then huh?" He felt a little sorry for Avery in that respect, Henry had been allowed to do things in his own way to some degree, like horse riding and sword fighting. There was more but those were the main things, the fact they allowed him to keep his video game's room told him this.
Henry gave Avery a mischievous look as he pretended he was going to use magic on him, actually he did have a little plan. Henry wasn't sure how Avery actually felt about magic, he had decided not to ask, to be honest Henry himself still had a bit of a rocky relationship with it. He still believed a lot of the problems with his family was because of magic. He was worried that magic might do something to him, that he might end up hurting someone. Henry decided at some point he should ask what he thought.
"World champion?" Henry asked stalling what he was thinking a bit, "seriously, that's cool," Henry said before slightly feeling suddenly competitive with his best friend. "A boxer hey, well I think Prince with a sword sounds better to me, I could always show you what my Grampa, dad and a pirate has taught me" Henry said proudly feeling rather competitive, he was a much better sword fighter than a magic user that was for sure. Plus Henry skills were a bit of a mixture of a princes and a pirates fighting skills, as well as using the fighting skills that Avery taught him, having adapted them to sword fighting. Henry quickly nudged his head down to his belt. "Though I do have you to thank, what you taught me comes in handy. You know I can always get you one a sword." He knew Avery liked things that were dangerous.
"What's wrong with Piper?" Henry challenged "I like her a lot," actually he more than liked her he knew what he felt about her, but he still had a hard time admitting it to people but Piper, because it was difficult and awkward for him, he had never really thought about it, but every time he saw her his heart jumped out of his skin. "Nope all for you, I think I heard of some girl stuck in a cave, with a dragon guarding it, maybe we could start there." Henry teased not being serious, no matter how much he would love to kill a dragon.
"Ow! Yeah, they would I just don't really want to go through with this, I keep thinking this is more for them than me, I'd rather be outside questing or being a Hero." Avery was one of the few people Henry could actually feel like he could tell how he felt about thing's like this recently. "This is just going to be embarrassing," his voice squeaking slightly at that.
"Ah well mom' Emma knows because no one can lie to her, but if it's my event I'm sure I can invite who I want, I want," He said, he hadn't really told anyone else he had been inviting Avery and anyway Emma had most likely told them by now. "Plus what's an event like this without my best friend to liven things up."

"You know my dad, always the same." Avery shook his head. In all reality, he couldn't complain about his parents too much. They didn't get on his case too often, even if his dad wanted him to participate in everything. "The good thing is he now kows I can beat the snot out of him for real, so he doesn't dare punish me for anything." The thought made Avery smirk. Avery smirked so often it was almost as if he was born that way. According to his mother he had done it so much it was permanent.
When Henry pointed to his sword, Avery's eyes grew five times wider. "NO WAY!" He reached out and grabbed the sword, trying to get it out of it's sheath. "You got to teach me dude!" He lifted it up, staring at his shiny reflection in the blade. "Seriously, this may be the coolest thing you've ever owned."
As he moved the sword back and forth, he brushed off the Piper question. "We have never gotten along, I don't see why we would now? But don't worry, I'll be too busy with all the other girls to even notice she's around." Avery knew Henry was crazy over Piper, though he was never sure why. He hadn't seen her in a while, maybe she had gotten hot. "No quests for me thanks, not until I eat at least."as if on cue his stomach grumbled loudly.
He focused his attention back on Henry. "Oh good, I was afraid she'd kick me out!" Avery still had a hold of Henry's sword, thought it was pretty heavy he wouldn't admit it...

"A part of this world" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- "Yeah I remember when he tried to get you on just about all the sports clubs imaginable," Henry mentioned before frowning a moment swearing he heard someone call his name. He quickly locked eyes with one of the guards, who just frowned in response and went off to find out if someone had. He then turned his attention back to Avery. "Sounds like you got your dad wrapped round your little finger," Henry smiled a little at that, though Henry himself wasn't sure about Avery's comment about being able to beat up his dad. He hoped he wouldn't actually end up doing that. Henry didn't really agree with hurting parents or family member's, even more so after all that had happened. Though beating them in a friendly sword duel was always fun.
Henry's grin widened as Avery reacted to the fact he had a sword, and he actually helped him take the sword out of the sheath. He smiled proudly when his friend said it was the coolest thing he ever had. Henry was incredibly proud of being able to wield a sword, okay so he still had a bit more practice to go but he was still good at it. One thing he could boast at being better at than Avery, not that Henry would. There were other things he was better at though as well.
"Yup, though this one's more for show, the one I usually use is in my room," Though if he concentrated enough he could bring his sword from his room, but it took a lot of concentration for him and he didn't want to do it right now. Plus he wasn't even sure it would end up in his hand, magic was tricky, it might end up stuck in someone, what if he killed someone with it?
Henry was a bit stunned though by a bit of what his best friend said, the fact he wanted him to teach him. "You want me to teach you to use a sword ?" Henry asked a little bit, weary of his best friend with something sharp in his hand and waving it about. Something sharp and Avery put together, could be one of two things, either a seriously fun time or something seriously bad. "Yeah actually you know what I will, but can I at least have it back first," He said smiling, still nervous that something might happen, plus he was his best friend he wasn't going to say no. "Of course I'll teach my best friend how to use a sword, and you did teach me how to fight in New York." He held his hand out for hi sword back, "plus you might need it here," Henry said with a small cheeky grin, leaving Avery to decided what that meant.
"Yeah I know I just wish you two would, your my best friend and well she's my," He stopped for a minute and scratched the back of his head going a little red, "my girlfriend," Henry finally admitted aloud, and to Avery. "Well the food's just beyond those doors? Ready? And are you sure you don't want me to magic you any new clothes, I found a spell where you can keep what your wearing but others see something different." Though he hadn't actually practised said spell yet.
"As if I'd let them kick you out," Henry said before nudging his head towards the door realizing people would be missing him, "coming?" He held his hand out for the sword as well.

Avery planted his feet, the weight of the sword feeling more comfortable now. He instantly saw Henry’s worried look at him holding the sword, and laughed when Henry asked for it back. Sure, he was known to get into some trouble but not all the time. Begrudgingly he handed the sword back to his friend to put away. “Of course I want you to teach me, do you know how badass I’d look when I went back to New York as a sword master! Besides you owe me.“ He could envision himself slashing at a few nameless classmates…
“What would I need it for here?“ His eyes grew even larger then they usually were. “Is there gonna be a battle in there or something?“ All he could think of was a bunch of knights behind the doors, ready to pounce on him. He had noticed Henry nod to a huge guard that had been watching his every move. What did his friend bring him here for, as a sacrifice? If he had paid attention, he would have seen the type of smile Henry had on his face, but in true Avery fashion he over-reacted.
After a minute, he assumed his friend was joking. Punching Henry in the arm, he shifted nervously from foot to foot. Then he heard his friend almost slip on his words. “She’s your what?“ Immediately, Henry changed the subject, so Avery let it slide for the moment.
“I’m fine with what I’m wearing, unless you think someone will get mad at me for not dressing up…. Unless you’re embarrassed to be seen with such lowly person.“ Avery didn’t care if he got in trouble, he just didn’t want to make Henry look bad. This whole deal seemed pretty important for Henry and for once he figured he better behave. For now that is. At the mention of food, his stomach rumbled again, this time loud enough for others to hear. A few people gave him dirty looks and he made a funny face at Henry. “Let’s do this; I could eat a whole buffet… Are they gonna have chicken wings?“ Avery asked, as he followed Henry towards the doors.
Avery didn’t know what to expect when they walked through the doors, he also didn’t know what to expect when members of Henry’s family and friends saw that he was there. For a rare moment, Avery felt nervous about being around a huge group of people he didn’t know in such a strange land. They all had magic, swords… and who knows what else!

The Enchanted Forest was Piper's home, a home that she never knew till recently. How she got to The Enchanted Forest was a blur to her but it didn't matter what mattered was she was here with her whole family. Piper stood in the crowd by her family waiting for Henry's arrival. It was an exciting moment for him in the eyes of his family and friends he was now sixteen. She remembered when she had turned sixteen it was such a big moment for Piper. The blonde was a woman but now she was seventeen only a year older Henry. "Mom this dress itches." Even though Piper was older didn't mean she wasn't the same old complaining girl. Her mother just brought Piper into a side hug and smiled down. "Don't worry you can change after." But she knew what her mother meant by change later. It just meant something a little less fancy and simple. That was the one thing about The Enchanted Forest the dressed like people from the medieval times. There was no modern clothing here, there was no Target or Ardene. Piper fiddle with her dress trying to make it as comfortable as possible, she would of settled with a plain dress or a fancy dress unless itching. But she really couldn't complain much. She got a glimpse of her refection in the window Piper looked like a princess in a fairy tale that brought a smile on her face. The crowd hushed a bit when the doors opened and Piper turned to the direction there he was. Henry looked as handsome as ever but she did have to admit the first time that she seen Henry in the clothing that they normally wore here with the cuffs she laughed so hard she fell over. After a while the crowd turned back to chatting. So Piper took this moment to head over towards the two young men. "Hello Avery." She gave him a small smile. Piper knew that Avery would be coming as much as she would like to punch him in the face for all the times he annoyed her. Piper had to put everything aside for Henry. Piper's hair was curly and laid on her shoulders, she brushed a strand behind her ear when she looked over at Henry. "You look handsome Henry." She moved closer and picked off a loose piece of thread on his shoulder and gave him a smile. outfit 409 Henry Mills TEMPLATE BY ELIZA @ Delusional & SP

"A part of this world" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- Once he got the sword Henry didn't put it away, he stood there a moment with it in his hand, he quickly swished it in the air in a deadly arc as if he attacking some show, he grinned excitedly sort of wishing he had someone to duel with right now, before placing it back in it's sheath. "That would of been more fun, If I actually had a dragon to slay or a evil knight to duel," Henry said to his best friend before sighing, he really wanted to go on a quest at some point, he was getting to the point he might just slip off unnoticed, yet there always seemed to be someone watching him. His parents had grown wise to him doing stuff like this.
"Hey I'm not that good myself yet, I still got a bit more to learn," Though he felt he was good enough to teach someone else, "you would be the most bad ass kid in new York if you knew how to use a sword," Henry said with a laugh and patted his friend on the shoulder with a wink. "Though I bet it would take you a a minute to cause trouble with a sword in New York," Avery couldn't stay a way from trouble and with a sword, he would be an even bigger beacon for it. He didn't mention it but he was sure Avery most likely wanted to get revenge on the kid who tried to frame him as setting up Avery. He did rather hope not.
"Maybe," Henry said with a mischievous grin and twinkle in his eye, that would be fun a battle behind the doors, but he doubted that very much. It seemed for a small while his best friend fell for it, which was fun it was always fun to try see who could fall for what. Though the punch on the arm told him he figured it out, he shook his head though when he asked what Piper was to him. "Doesn't matter," He would most likely notice anyway when they got in there, he assumed Piper was there, well hoped she was, he really wanted her to be, she was really important. Oh god what if she wasn't there what if something had happened. No snap yourself out of this nothing has happened she is fine. He said to himself.
"Nah no one should get mad not really, they are used to the land without magic's clothing, so you should be fine mate," he raised an eyebrow at him calling himself a lowly person. "No way, I'd go out and say hello with the people any day, they are important." It was true everyone was important you couldn't just ignore the people, and it was good idea to try get to know them. Henry laughed as his stomach rumbled though his did the same in response and he rolled his eyes at what Avery said. "Er yeah They have chicken wing's of a sort and well food your not used to," even he wasn't used to the food here still, it was some of the most strangest stuff ever, but it could be quite tasty. Henry cracked up at Avery's face but realized he was going to have to be a little bit more serious for when he went through the doors. "Come on then," Henry walked with Avery to the doors and they were open for them, though to be honest Henry was sure he could of opened the doors himself, but the kid didn't complain. They entered to a very quiet room with eyes staring at the booth of them. He wasn't sure if they were surprised by Avery, but the fact they were all watching Henry made him nervous, did they think him okay was something wrong? When where they going to speak? Henry stopped and looked at everyone's eyes, a bit of panic rushing up through him, before he remembered something his grampa had told him. That it was normal to be frightened on a day like today, he just had to act like it was any other day. His dad had told him to imagine he was out there being a hero. Thinking on these two things made it work for Henry though he was still nervous.
He did notice a lot of them were looking over his clothing, he was sure a few had decided he wasn't dressed properly enough. That didn't matter Henry liked what he wore and didn't care what people thought. When people went back to chatting there was one person he noticed, and that was it, there she was and she was quite literally the only person in the room, he almost forgot anyone else was there. Henry didn't speak and didn't even realize his girlfriend had talked to Avery.
All Henry could do was just stare at her as if she was the only person who was there with him, he was tongue tied and couldn't speak, he had never seen her like this. She was beautiful angel anyway, but well the dress she was in made her look a hundred no a billion times more stunning. He wanted to rush over as spin her around and kiss her right now, he didn't care what a fool he would look, the sixteen year old would of done it. But he couldn't because he was there rooted to the spot weak at the knees just staring at her. He felt his heart start up slowly, and a delicate warm feeling over take it, as a slow rhythm began beating to a heavenly host of angels. It soon turned into a rabid thump as she came close, and his face broke out into a cute but rather dopey smile. His cheeks reddened dramatically and his knees weakened even more, it took all his will power just to stay upright. Henry's eyes brightened and his finger tips felt warm as if they had been baking under the sun.
Henry looked at her in her dress, she was like a flower which had just come to bloom in the new season, beautiful, stunning and well hot. He felt as if she was the only person in the room and that his face was on fire from the warmth he felt by seeing her. There could of been a fight breaking out right now and all he would see was her, in fact all he could see right now was her. It was as if the whole room ha darkened and star light shone in her wake, the room was just for, the two of them, no one else existed apart from him and her. She felt like the most important person in the whole entire world, the fireworks that went off behind him proved this two him. He could stay there like this forever watching her as the days passed on, Piper in all her beauty and fawn over how pretty her dress made her, how stunning she already was how much he loved for.
If Henry was to say anything out loud it would be obvious how he felt. Henry would never been able to get out the words fast enough. Just looking at her had frozen him, sent his mind into jumble, it was an absolute mess. The sixteen year old could barely think about anything but piper right now. It was as if all thoughts of the night's events had evaporated from his mind, one though existed, one person existed and that was Piper. Not Avery, not his parents, who were among the gathered crowd, not the rest of his family, not even the other people who had come to celebrate his day. No it was Piper, just Piper, he didn't even care where he was. He would barely even be able to speak his thoughts allowed tell her how he felt for her, because they would come out a mess, a jumble he would slip over his words as easy as slipping over a banana skin. What a fool he would look then, his words would come out fast and make no sense.
Henry wanted to take her away and dance he wanted to talk to her all night long, he felt he only had time for her every time he saw her, she was important to him, possibly even his true love. With her his heart fluttered and he felt joy and excitement. He wanted to be with her at every moment, see her every day, take every step with her. He wanted to be there for her when she was down and depressed, when she would need comforting, be that shoulder to cry on, be there for her whenever she needed him, look after her when she took ill, share in her every joyful moment. To share in her every laugh. That's how she made him feel just by her being there. No matter what henry could not stop this feeling, he kept feeling it that warmth and that love, he had no regrets over it.
As the thoughts of Piper raced through the little princes mind, he had no idea of what was going on around him, for all he knew right now Avery or piper could be talking to him. He could of been pushed over on the floor. But no he was upright and looking at piper. He felt the urge to rush towards her and pick her up, spin her around and dance. Dance like their lives depended on it. He wanted to kiss her, give her the most passionate kiss he had ever given anyone, tell her how beautiful she looked, how much he felt for her. How they should stay together and do whatever she wanted. The More she walked towards him, the more he wanted to just run towards her and do all these things. He couldn't though as he was frozen to the spot weak kneed and terribly tongue tied.
Wait did she just speak to him? He was sure she did, her lips moved, but he didn't hear anything, it was as if he was in his own little dream world. His ears where full of a song, a heavenly song? Perhaps but it was a song none the less. It was as loud as church bells and as soft s angels. It wasn't really music though it was the words from piper, words that had burst into song. Her every words was a note to him that brought him to sleep, or brought his heart ever further to just bursting out of his chest at both the sight of her and her very words. The song was angelic and sweet, like her voice, it was soft and comforting like all he words, it was kind and gentle like her personality. Piper's words and her song they were an enchanting vision that lead him down a tunnel that brought him out of the darkness and into the light. Henry could stand there listening to her all day and not notice time move on. he would gladly listen to her talk and talk, and sit night and day just being there for her, he would lay and sleep upon the grass of the kingdom if it made her happy. He would walk to the ends of the land and bring back the brightest of jewels and save a mighty kingdom from an evil dragon if it made her happy. She was what made him happy as soon as he saw her.
Was he silly for thinking these thought's? For wanting to be with his girlfriend every waking second, to think of her as angel the sixteen year old did not deserve. Was he stupid for wanting to do everything he could with her to make sure she was protected, safe and happy. To not want to see her harmed, broken or crushed. To make her happy and to show her the very best of times. Was he stupid for thinking of only of her in this moment, Piper in that dress his heart going ten to the dozen. Was it right to block out all thought, dreams of anyone else? He felt his heart thump at the answer, he would say yes, a dozen times over. He would take her hand kiss it, be a gentlemen and treat her in the way she deserved a thousand times over. If anyone was to ask him what he thought right now, there would be one simple word, even if they hadn't noticed by his expression, Piper was that word.
Henry was sure she felt the same, they were boyfriend and girlfriend she had followed him to this land, she had stayed and they had danced the night away.
There was that night, that extremely, extremely blissful night when he had taken her aside on the day she had come to the castle at a court meeting. It had fallen night and well they had been boyfriend and girlfriend for a while now but this had been the first real time he had felt he could declare his feeling without shying away, or hiding. It had become a night to remember. The two unnoticed had snuck into the ballroom, they had joked and laughed and had so much fun. Henry showed her how much he had learnt with his magic, turning the ballroom into a room that was beautiful, to fit piper herself. He had set the music and they had danced, danced the night away, oblivion could of come in the day and they would never have noticed. He had kissed her then, and they had fallen asleep together in that room, found by their parents the next day. They had gotten in so much trouble for that, yet it had been worth it, once of the best days of his life. He remember the small pendent he had made by magic, he had never asked if she had opened it. He had never told her the price for making it had been a little bit of pain on his body, he had fallen ill the next day.
He would never tell her this for he didn't want to upset her, that day was spectacular, the most heart racing and tender moment of his life. He had never felt like that before. He felt like he had been dancing under the moonlight a simple night's moon, that they weren't in the castle. When he had closed his eyes that night as they danced, he felt the waves and the wind circling his face, he felt himself lifted in the air with her above the sea to an fury of fireworks. Was it real no but in his mind it was, it was heaven it was here and he was experiencing that very moment, he was experiencing it even now. Reliving that moment now as he saw her and heard her voice. He saw her and felt that his world was her, no one else felt this important to him right now, he would fall head over heels to save her life, to remove her from danger. He would sacrifice his own life if it meant saving hers, he would do it with no regrets, because not only was it the right thing to do, he felt so much for her, he felt love, for her, he felt like he wanted her and her solely no other girl made him feel like this Just Piper, and Piper alone. He would do was he needed to protect her.
Henry with his rather dopey but extremely happy look on his face, what would people think, would they notice, could they tell he had entered some sort of stupor, some world that no one but him could enter? A world where in that moment it was just him and Piper amongst the darkness that light in the dark place. Would they see him as silly and stupid? Would they notice the signs of how he felt, did people think that something had happened, that some illness had overcome him and he could not move or speak? Was he deaf to all words, did all touch bar Piper's go unnoticed to the young lad. Was it just young love? What was going on in his mind they could ask? In fact where these people even looking at him any more? Possibly but did they even care. Henry did not, he cared as he looked for only Piper as his mind kept repeatedly telling him on a loop not letting up and not letting, go never ceasing, though it might have to for the boy to function. Everything since he saw piper everything about Henry seem to have stopped function.
Henry was slow, in these very moment she was slow, but not only that, the sixteen year old's thought's had not taken very long, in fact they had really been only as long as it took Piper to get from where she was, to pick a loose thread of his shoulder. Wait she had touched him! She had touched him on the shoulder! He hadn't even noticed. Well he did but his brain was slowly working like clockwork ticking over ever so slowly as it caught up with recent events. Henry was slow but he was realizing what was going on, that she had spoken to him, and touched his shoulder! His shoulder, she had touched him. A movement that had sent shock waves throughout his whole body, and his heart warmed again, threatening to trip out of his chest. What had she said to him as well? She had said something? he was sure she did but what was it? It was important as he felt his cheeks reddening in response to what she, said his heart thumping even more his mouth opening and closing almost like a goldfishes. That was right she had called him...... called him handsome! She thought he was handsome! He felt like he was swaying but he wasn't his face had gone bright red at her comment.
"Hh..han," his words got lost as his face reddened and he looked down at her hand, he babbled something unintelligible out unable to say what he was thinking. For a moment he looked to Avery for help, and then back to pier and he waved his hand about a little unable to speak every word lost in his throat. He stood there for a moment again looking at piper unsure what to say, before taking another look at Avery. God he felt stupid why couldn't he speak? "You y...ou th..." His words died again and for a moment there was silence as Henry looked increasingly embarrassed, and he looked at Avery again for help but was unsure if any would come. Maybe words wont do, he decided for something else. Henry took a few steps forward slowly and then took her hand's he brought her right one up to his lips and kissed them wordlessly, all the while looking at her dazzling Brown eyes. Brown eyes he could stare into all day and night if he could, but there wasn't time. Henry brought her hand down slowly and gently and after what felt like a life time of searching her eyes he took another step forward and kissed her as passionately as he felt. His heart raced feeling as if it had left his chest, though he knew how that actually felt, a lot more painful. Excitement rushed through his body and warmth grew, fireworks felt like they were going off just above his head it was a perfect moment.
After what seemed like an age Henry pulled away and looked her once more in the eyes. He felt he could speak again, as if he had been cured of being tongue tied, the kiss being all he needed. "I... that was wow," Henry squeaked out still a little nervous. "If I'm handsome Piper, you must truly be the real Belle of this ball," He said with a whimsical smile, knowing that the real Belle was here, but it still felt right telling that. Henry looked around and noticed that no one was dancing just chatting what were they waiting for. Oh as his mom Regina had told him he had to dance first. He looked a little nervous at what he was going to say, and he twiddled his thumbs a bit. He looked at Piper and bowed before taking her hand gently. "I would very much like this dance my lady," he said to her an extremely polite manner, unaware he was being watched by just about everybody in the room. It was him and her right now. He nodded to Avery quickly and then nodded at the buffet table. He then whispered to Piper, "I've been practising I'm much better than last time I wont fall cross my heart." Henry said with a small little laugh as he began to move towards the middle of the room hoping to bring her with him.

Avery hid behind Henry as they walked through the doors. Everyone was staring at them, so he hoped his friend would cover him enough so he wouldn’t get noticed. Unfortunately for Avery he stood much taller than Henry, causing him to kind of slump down in hopes of cover. Once the initial entrance was over, it seemed as if people lost most of their interest in Henry and his companion. ‘Phew, that was awkward’ Scratching his head, he looked around, feeling even more out of place. Avery didn’t even see Henry’s mom(s), dad or grandparents yet, and they were the only people he really knew. Normally Avery would jump right into the party, dancing crazy and making a fool out of himself. In this crowd however, he felt kind of like the odd man out. All of these people here knew how to use magic, or knew each other from other lives. Looking down, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and waited for Henry to do or say something. Before he even realized she was walking over, a familiar, irritating voice drifted into his ears, “Hello Avery.” Piper had said and he could tell by her tone of voice she was giving him one of her ‘I’m tolerating you’ smiles. Lifting his head, he looked up to see a rather grown up Piper. Her voice was still the same, like nails on the chalkboard, but she was certainly better to look at now. Without realizing it, Avery gave her the once over. He nodded casually, raising his one eyebrow. “Why hello there Piper old friend, how lovelyyyyy to see you.” He grinned while drawing out his words sarcastically. He watched as Piper approached Henry and picked at his shoulder. From his best friend’s reaction, Avery could tell something was up. He knew instantly by Henry’s mannerisms that Piper was his girlfriend. ’Why didn’t he tell me?’ For a long, extremely silent and awkward moment Henry stared at Piper as if she were some sort of mystical being. Rolling his eyes, Avery whistled and rocked back and forth on his feet. When Henry finally snapped out of it, he turned to Avery for help. “I think what my well-spoken friend is trying to say here is that you look damn fine.” Avery winked at Piper, knowing the comment would annoy her beyond belief. Finally Henry snapped out of it, barely acknowledging Avery’s existence. Avery stared at his feet and up at the ceiling, feeling like a major third wheel. Apparently Henry and Piper were going to go dance. … Well so much for he and Henry hanging out at this thing. He managed a smile when Henry looked back at him and indicated the buffet table. For a moment he watched them walk away. ‘Why did he even invite me here? To rub it in my face that he has a cooler life, hot girlfriend and a sword?” Why would Henry bother to go through all the trouble to use magic to get him there? This was the second time Avery had ever doubted his best friend in the five years they had known each other. Back in New York, Avery was having a hard time in high school without Henry. Unknown to Henry, he was only taking lessons and training so hard because he really had nothing else to do. Turning, he headed towards the food. At least there was food. And so far he didn’t see any of these girls that Henry had promised. Not as if Henry stuck around to introduce him to any. Many thoughts ran through his mind as he grabbed a plate to fill it up. The food looked pretty good, fancy, but good. Avery filled his plate high, taste testing as he went. Temporarily he was pleased with this distraction. If no one talked to him he’d be OK, he wasn’t sure if he could stop eating long enough to socialize. Once he was pleased with his choices, and his cheeks were as full as a chipmunk, he noticed a chair along the wall, away from the dance floor. Nodding at a few people as he went by, he slipped through the crowd and dropped his behind down on the seat. Observing, he continued to stuff his face, hoping something exciting would happen, like Piper would trip in her fancy shoes… Piper Tailor Henry Mills
